* International Forum:

NCSL International serves as an organized forum for discussion and information on issues and practices relevant to calibration and metrology worldwide. We maintain active liaison representatives to numerous leading international measurement science organizations. NCSL International Membership benefits the Member Organization by providing ongoing information on changing requirements for standards, regulatory and accreditation compliance, as well as recommended laboratory practices, we receive as a result of our long-standing liaison relationships.

In addition, NCSL International participates in international efforts for development of laboratory competence and accreditation, laboratory safety, interlaboratory comparisons, and metrology education in developing countries. This participation allows NCSL International Members to have input on development of international standards and codes of conduct.

To collaborate and support our international forum further we provide for real-time interactivity on key issues via our NCSLI Public Forums right here on our website.

* Regions & Sections:

NCSL International is organized in Regions and Sections of the world and each Region and Section are guided and directed by Coordinators. Region and Section Coordinators are metrology professionals that are enthusiastic about the organization, and about seeing fellow metrologists at all levels succeed and advance in their respective careers.  Region and Section meetings are held periodically throughout the year, based upon geographic location and Member needs. See Regions / Sections to find a local meeting near you.

* Annual Workshop & Symposium

NCSL International sponsors an annual technical Workshop and Symposium with panels, exhibits, and individual presentations to provide a forum for attendees to exchange information on a wide variety of measurement topics, including implementing national and international standards, achieving laboratory accreditation, new measurement technology, advances in measurement disciplines, laboratory management procedures and skills, equipment management, workforce training, and new instrumentation.

Industry Committee meetings are held in conjunction with the Annual Workshop & Symposium to allow attendees with common interests or specialized practices such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, utilities, chemistry, and transportation, to meet.
